Hello guests and players to the Graymalkin Advertisement area.
Now before you post a link from your website to ours, we do have a few rules and regulations we ask that you follow. Read through our rules VERY carefully before posting your links.
BASIC ADVERTISEMENT RULES
1. Our ad section is under admin monitoring. As such when you post your ad, it will not appear immediately. Instead, it will wait in our mod area to be reviewed and made certain that it is appropriate for our site. We do this because of spam bots are posting MASSIVE amounts of inappropriate material and we don't like our players seeing that stuff. So we try and stop it before it can be posted for all to see. This leads us to...
2. Do not attempt to post ANYTHING of an inappropriate nature on our site. This includes anything that involves pornography or hate talk that insults a group or people's culture, race or sexuality (Gay, straight, bisexual, transgender). We here at Graymalkin, like the X-Men mythology, are all about equality and being open-minded and working to bring people together. If you site promotes any kind of intolerance or hate talk, we would rather no associate with you. We'd prefer you also avoid posting anything having to do with politics of any kind.
3. ONLY POST ADS FOR RPG GAMES. We do not want to see anyone's introduction greeting, or their ads for random stuff like that. If you want to introduce yourself into the game as a potential player, then make an account and join. The ad section is ONLY FOR RPG ADS.
4. Your add MUST have more than just a link to it. We want to know what kind of website we're associating with from the get-go.
5. If you post here, make certain that we are allowed to post on YOUR site. If your site's ad area is not guest friendly, we will remove your site from our board. We're not going to join your site just so we can spam it.
6. Do not double post your ads. We hate seeing the exact same ad to websites clutter up our site. To avoid this make CERTAIN that you are not already listed in our Link archives. If you wish you alert us to a change in your site, try posting in your old ad space.
7. If your site is NOT a InvisionFree site, check your coding, spelling, links and images of your add, BEFORE you post it. We do not really enjoy having to edit other people's ads in order to make them readable. In order to make sure your ad is formated and written correctly, use the PREVIEW button to test it out BEFORE hitting the post button.
AFFILIATION RULES
In order to request affiliation, post your add, as well as your affiliation button CODING (the code that tells us how to add your tiny banner to our website) in the AFFILIATES area. Do not post your affiliate request in the Heroic or Other Links area, because we will assume this is a normal linking request.
Once there we will review your request (this at times can take time due to what's going with the staff and how busy they are) If we approve it, we will then post a similar request on your site, if you haven't already added us.
For us to affiliate with your site you must be willing to do the same. As such, we normally expect to see our affiliation button appear on your site first. This of course isn't required, but it helps us make sure that you are indeed intending to make this a two way partnership.
But please note that just because you post in the affiliation site does not mean that you are going to be approved by us. The reasons for affilation rejections can be...
1. If we deem your site as something inappropriate (i.e. pornographic, racist, homophobic, or generally not nice to someone else) we hold the option of rejecting the request.
2. If we we deem your site too underdeveloped (whether in terms of site layout design, players numbers, story, or how active or new it is), we again reserve the right to reject the affiliation request.
