And then time stopped and the hourglass broke

It has been THREE year since the fall of Queen Brahne. A year since the terrible wars that crippled most of the mist continent. A year since Burmecia, Lindblum, Cleyra and Alexandria where brought to their knees. Economies have been crippled as people just try to regain what little remain of their SHATTERED lives.

Money has been scarce. The new Queen of Alexandria is INEXPERIENCED, and though good hearted, has failed to bring the city out of its devestating slump. The people have grown restlesses. Hunger in their bellies and little money in their pockets, their depression has turned into rage. The people have begun to revolt, wanting to know where all their money is going. Large parts of ALEXANDRIA remain desolate and under repaired, yet cities such as Lindblum seem to have made miraculus recoveries.

Money seems to be pouring out of Alexandria and into some UNKNOWN recess. Rumours are spreading that the money is going on gambelling bets in Treno. The Queen denies all such accusations, though her loyal knight seems concered.

As ANARCHY assails Alexandria, old evil begins to seep back to its roots. Two JESTERS, long thought dead, have returned with "Queen Brahne", who supposedly still whispers orders to them through a painting. Through "her" they have begun to conduct themselves and bring about new chaos.

Foolishly, the two breathed back life into the BLACK WALTZ 3 He turned against them: seeking rebellion and power for himself, focussing on some other desire. An old mission still never achived, to retrive the princess. He has awoken his "brother" and together they have begun to take advantage of the War to the Outer Continent.

Once, BLACK MAGE VILLAGE had been a very peaceful place. Yet one year ago, the GENOMES came seeking refuge. For a while, things went well. Yet there was too much difference between the two peoples. The Black mages who where cursed with such tragically short lives envied their forever living neighbours. Conflicts arose and racism was rife. Yet no one expected full out war, nor did anyone want it. One night changed it all. In one night the whole of the village was torn as it locked horns in CONFLICT.

Yet this will be nothing compared too the greater evil that lurks just beyond the horizon.

All the words once unsaid can now be said. All the emotions felt can now be refelt and respoken. The story has not drawn to a close just yet...
