Okay gang, as you know for this period's role over, the STs have decided to give things an unexpected twist. Rather than do another adventure of action, adveture and violent super-heroics, we've decided to do an adventure of sex, leather and Sadomasochism.

I am of course talking about the FOLSOM STREET FAIR

For those of you who are unaware of what this is, the Folsom Street Fair is is an annual BDSM and leather subculture street fair held on the last Sunday in September and caps San Francisco's "Leather Pride Week". The Folsom Street Fair, sometimes simply referred to as "Folsom", takes place on Folsom Street between 7th and 12th Streets, in San Francisco's South of Market district.

Essentially this is a celebration of sexuality, where attendees are able to witness and experience every sort of sexual fetish that is morally and legally allowed (which of course means anything that involves children, animals, or actual rape is NOT allowed). Although this is often consider primarily a GLTB event, that is far from true. People (men and women and everything in between) from all over the world (making this the world's biggest fetish event) come to bear (pun not intended... kinda) witness to this event every year.

This fair includes something for well... almost everyone

• Food and Drinks (including alcohol)
• Assorted booths selling (leather clothing, bondage gear, sex toys, adult videos and more)
• Health and safety (giving out of free condoms, information on STD's, STD and HIV/AIDS testing.*)
• Live demonstrations of assorted fetishes (Public whippings, bondage, and even sexual demonstrations which are done in 18+ booths that are hidden from public view)
• Porn stars signing autographs, selling videos and being oggled by the crowd.
• Live music (both bands and DJs)
• Dancing
• Local bars are open as well.
• Patrons who wanting to get involved themselves are walking around in leather, bondage, furry-costumes, or nothing at all.
• A kids area with playground equipment, games and face painting

Now, despite the adult nature of this fair it is open to EVERYONE who wants to attend. Even the kiddies. This is not only in the game, but in real life itself. The SF Folsom committee in charge of the fair lets adults know that this is primarily an adult event, but leaves it up to the parent/guardians to decide whether or not to deny their kids entry. After all, this entire event is designed to teach tolerance, acceptance and understanding about other people and furthermore it's to teach people that sexuality is not something to be fear but to be enjoyed and proud of.

*FYI: according to Marvel Comics mutants are incapable of getting HIV/AIDS due to the X-Gene having an unexplained immunity to it.
