DAYSTROM ACADEMY
The Daystrom Academy is an elite private school for the teenage children of Starfleet officers who are looking forward to follow their parents' footsteps. The Academy was established ten years ago, in 2276, and was named after Doctor Richard Daystrom, one of the most influential minds of the 23rd century. Although the Academy is linked to Starfleet, it is privately funded by local entrepreneurs, past alumni, and the families whose children attend the academy. The Academy is located on the Presidio of San Francisco, four blocks away from Starfleet Academy.
The year is 2286. The end of summer is approaching and school's back in. The students of Daystrom Academy are settling back into their studies, getting used to dorm life again, and answering to authority figures once again. It seems like another exciting year at DA. Things might get a little bit more exciting now that new people have arrived and many different events are going on behind the scenes.
These events are hopefully events that will shape these young teenagers into the future leaders, and starship captains that many will read about in the future.
