Title: Major Rollover & Announcement
Description: Tons of fun and new info for players

Graymalkin Foundation - March 16, 2009 06:04 AM (GMT)
Hello Players,

Well, as you can guess we've rolled over to not only a new day, but also a new month entirely. The dates is SATURDAY AUGUST 15TH 2005. The place, SAN FRANCISCO CALIFORNIA.

Now in order to help players get a better understanding of what has happened, here's a brief summary...
  • Following the destruction of the Xavier Institute, the school was officially shut down, and as of now there are no plans for rebuilding.
  • Following the destruction, the injured staff and students were taken to Muir Island while those who were relatively unharmed were sent to Emma's old Massachutests school, or they went home to their familes. The students were not required to go to either place, and thus were free go wherever they wished to recover from the past events.
  • Cyclops is now the primary leader of the X-Men with Xavier taking an extended leave of absence. Before leaving the ruins of the Institute he was introduced to the Mayor of San Francisco, thanks to Archangel. She gave him an offer he can't refuse.
  • Cut to now. The senior staff of the X-Men have been spent the last few months in San Francisco, where much to their amazement, they have been welcomed with open arms and understanding. The junior staff and students have meanwhile been on their own forms of Summer vacation or residing at Muir Island or Emma's school.
  • Today, the newly built GRAYMALKIN FOUNDATION Community Center has been built in the MARIN HEADLANDS, just north of the City of San Francisco will open and the children of the X-Men have been called back to their new home. They are arriving by taxi, plane, bus or powers. Who can say?
  • In the City meanwhile, Havok and Emma Frost will be opening the new Graymalkin Foundation Welcome Center in the SF Financial district.
With any luck, that all makes sense to everyone. Now, an ST post will be going up, that will help set the stage for the new game. After that, players are free to start their own solo-thread, or join the main thread which will involved a news conference celebrating the new Foundation and then a small assembly for the returning residents.

There will be a lot more information to be revealed, including the new housing arrangements, teams, and even academic settings. So we hope everyone is prepared.

We've added a whole LOT of new things to the newly renamed FOUNDATION INFORMATION area, including new maps, rules, team lists and so on. More information will be up soon, including information of San Francisco for those unfamiliar.

BTW: If players wish to show what happened to their players during the gap between the previous game day and the new one, feel free to post all you want in the backpost area. Just don't forget to be involved in the current day.

The next rollover will take place MONDAY, MARCH 30TH, 2009 at midnight (eastern standard time). If you have any questions please ask a member of the admin and we'll be happy to help and answer any questions.
