I have had a few people come to me and ask about the order of the explosions and the damage that was caused. In an effort to eliminate any confusion and help everyone out I will do my best to explain it here, with visuals even to further the cause of explosion understanding.
EXPLOSION ONE: A suicide bomber makes his way into the mansion. Aurora tries valiantly to stop the first explosion, but it goes off all the same. The result: A deafening explosion tore through the mansion and across the school grounds with such loud force that it was as if god himself had opted to strike them all down. Every window exploded, send glass in all directions. The front of the mansion blasted forth with wood, glass, metal and stone. The force of the blast was so powerful that anyone close to it were sent flying in all directions away from mansion. In the sublevels the entire place shook, some walls crumbled in spots, ceiling fell in portions in halls and the medical bay, and a large crack formed in one hallway.
EXPLOSION TWO: Only moments after the initial suicide bombers attack went off, a second explosion happened on the other side of the mansion. The basketball court exploded upwards, sending broken metal and glass in all directions. The slab of metal concrete from the doors that led to the X-Jet's underground hanger crashed through the glass walls of the greenhouse. In the sublevels the effects are immediately obvious. The entire sublevels shake once again, more debris falls, and a fire breaks out in the hangar that spreads quickly to the locker rooms. The entire sublevels fill with smoke and dust hangs in the air. As the second explosion hits it breaks the Elevator loose of its cables and it crashes to a halt.
EXPLOSION THREE: A second or two behind the hangar explosion. The boy's dorm is it with its own explosion, the entry way explodes, and at least one unoccupied dorm room on the second floor explodes outward with a shower of glass and brick and debris. Fire continues to spread in the dorm building.
EXPLOSION FOUR: At the exact same time as the boy's dorm explosion. The girl's dorm entryway explodes. Paige and Mel Guthries room exploded outward, Paige's bed flew out the window as a hunk of flaming shrapnel that propelled itself and what hid beneath it... a flaming arsenal of weaponry, through the sky to their doom. Fire continues to spread in the dorm building.
These are just rough quick images. Assume the red is mostly fire for now, and the Buildings are relatively intact in most areas. The Mansion has no windows, and is quite literally turning into a skeletal hulk of rubble as time passes, and entire walls/floors are missing in some areas. The green house is gone, etc.
